Amy Winehouse refused to attend her own 25th birthday party after supposedly ranting "I look too ugly". The 'Rehab' singer rowed with friend Remi Nicole for three hours on Saturday after supposedly realising how drugs have "ravaged" her looks.
Adele, Mark Ronson and Winehouse's mother Janis were left to eat a guitar-shaped birthday cake without the singer at London club Jazz After Dark. A source said: "Amy was standing in front of the mirror telling everyone how rough she looked. They couldn't get her out. Remi had organised the night and made a huge effort. They had a huge row"

Renowned no-show Amy Winehouse didn't fail to disappoint yet again as she left friends and family waiting at her birthday party in North London – all because she felt ugly.
The singer's tardiness made a repeat performance at the weekend when she kept guests guessing whether she would turn up to the star studded event hosted my her mum.
Best pal Remi Nicole reportedly tried to persuade Amy to get dressed up and go whilst the soul diva stood in the mirror saying how rough she looked.
The Sun reports a source as saying, ““Unfortunately her lifestyle has had a major affect on her appearance and it’s only just started to sink in.
“She kept saying she was ugly and was in an awful state. They couldn’t get her out.
“Remi had organised the night and made a huge effort. They had a huge row.
“Amy can be very selfish — there was no convincing her and she ruined the night for everyone, including herself.”
Pal Mark Ronson and rumoured fling Blake Wood were left eating Amy's guitar shaped cake whilst mum Janis failed to hold back the tears.
Sounds like it's more than about time the troubled singer got her act together.

Yes, but I wonder for how much longer I actually think there is some truth in that Sun article and Amy is pushing her friends away.

Yeah, she seems like a nice girl.Remi Nicole.. a true friend IMO.. she seems to ALWAYS be there for Amy.

i think theres alot of truth to it, i can really imagine amy saying she doesnt want to go because she feels ugly, shes so self concious and i could imagine her friends, remi of course trying to get her to go, and amy refusing..
i think if the sun was going to make something up it would of been alot more 'amy didnt go to her party instead binged on drugs'
where as this i beliveable

Thats the girl that went into Amy's house with the bike,,!
She told the minders that she would be back in a few hours and that did they know they where al going out for her birthday,,!!
