AMY WINEHOUSE only lasted a month in Blighty before being lured back to St Lucia.

The songbird hopped on a plane from Gatwick yesterday morning, returning to the Caribbean island where she spent 71 days over Christmas.
But it’s not going to be all play.
She begins studio sessions next week with producer SALAAM REMI, who masterminded her debut album Frank.
And don’t expect her in the UK any time soon — the Back To Black singer told pals she wants to find a second home in St Lucia.

This is great news. After her bleak period, this would be among other things, a great message to the media that she has gotten back on her feet. And combining her voice and style with Carribean influences would be a blast for fans.

Hmmmm...... 'to be released early 2009'? Well, it IS early 2009 and there's no sign of anything substantial.

It's looking like towards the end of this year (maybe - hopefully).
