Amy vow is put to the test
By 3am 29/08/2009
Amy Winehouse is taking weekly blood tests to prove to record bosses she is not back on crack.
Label execs don't want anything to wreck plans for her to do a delayed tour of America with her Back To Black album.
We're told: "Amy's passed all the tests so far with flying colours.
"And she may do some dates in America with the last album before she releases her new one."
To keep Amy away from bad influences, they have also hired two minders.
Our source adds: "Amy has minders with her all the time - they even follow her to the toilet.
"Now and again she just has enough. When she ran away from them and got on the Tube on her own everyone was panicking.
"Obviously with that beehive she is going to get recognised. She was fine."

Minders, or guards? In whose interest exactly? Amy's, or the record company's? I care more about the first, and less about the latter. If the claimed tests and the suggested U.S. tour are true and if they work in favour of Amy's personal and career interests, then I'm glad with both, and even with the "minders", as long as they don't bully or shove anyone, least of all Amy.
"I know you're supposed to mind me, guys, but would you mind not following me into the toilet?!" ;-)

Amy Winehouse died, and she's taken a part of my soul with her. May that part be the love that I felt for her, and may the love that I still feel for her be the undying part of us both.
