Here is a better quality recording...at the end you can clearly see that there is no respect from the crowd...amy tries to talk to them and they ignored her...i think what the press is missing is that many people in the crowd were rude from the onset...like they purposefully went to ridicule her...

crowd leaving...
assholes; i think these ppl have a real attitude problem and wouldn't respect her; i'm just getting this vibe. she doesn't even seem drunk in the above video---i've seen amy at coachella and that is when she was drunk; i think she is bored playing the same songs and the record co. wont let her play what she wants ---adding a shit audience only makes it worse

The shitty City of Dubai (http://news.bbc.co.u...ine/7985361.stm) gave her a hard time, but luckily they paid her a truckload, so it's goodbye, shitty Dubai, and farewell. Amy looked and sounded damn good, b.t.w., and she was very patient and tolerant, and when she finally made a point of making her point, my god, she did it well! I'm proud of her stamina, courage and cool. YouTube facilitates orgies of anonymus malice, not just with Amy, but she gets a lot of it, sadly.

Amy Winehouse died, and she's taken a part of my soul with her. May that part be the love that I felt for her, and may the love that I still feel for her be the undying part of us both.

The press (not all) doesn't want to stop their harsh judgments. And what they don't know, they make up.
The press (some) is an ass!...and if we're not careful, we get sucked into their venomous black hole...
It's usually never as bad as they say, because they will only highlight the small percentage of things that "went wrong".
They put her down for minutae - imagine "drinking water mid-song"! (She always does that.)
"Couldn't hear her"?! (Whose fault was that?)
"She was a mess"! (she seemed pretty and put together to me)
"Playing with her nails" (yep, she did that, and so what?...one of her idiosyncracies. During one of her most beautiful renditions of Valerie on youtube, she was playing with her nails. Didn't seem to affect her singing)
"Asked the crowd if they wanted to get up there and join the band"! (Hogwash. She asked if they wanted to meet her band, as in her introducing them to the audience.)
Sorry...lost the link..er, maybe I'm not really sorry I lost it lol
My point is that
The press doesn't need to see some of these other videos, because they don't want to stop their harsh judgments

i love everyone on this blog who support amy b/c you are soooo right and I am so glad that a few intelligent ppl still exist who have commented on the Dubai performance...i could not find anything wrong with her performance, to the contrary I was suprised she didnt walk out sooner with a rude trashy crowd like that. she knew some of her fans were still there!
and i doubt she was drunk at all because the last thing the record co. wanted was her getting arrested in Dubai (as they have a law against public drunkenness that carries a hefty amount of years in jail)
Unfortunately, b/c of the damn crack video, ppl try to make her a druggie every chance they get. Well every time i see negative comments on a celeb site, I dish out my own 2 sense and it basically translates to = I LOVE AMY! SHE KICKS ASS!!
