I listened to this version of Love is a Losing Game:

Don't do it. It has always been my favorite version because she is so heartfelt in it...you can tell she means every word she is singing. But watching her sing it and hearing it is too much right now.

I'm still in shock. I called my mom twice yesterday crying and luckily she understands because she knows how much of a fan I have been. I told her that the only thing that I can really think to get through it right now is to block out that it happened and just pretend that it didn't. I'm in total denial right now. Like I'm looking at my avatar and thinking yup that's Amy, a candid. Shopping and doing other things. Just can't get it through my head. Is anyone else feeling that way?

I am very new to this forum and noticed there are alot of people that are feeling pretty sad right now. I understand how you feel and can understand how the hurt feels like has overtaken everything. Amy had such a gift and will be remembered for her kindness and talent. She has a music legacy that will be there until the end of time. I know what I am writing will not lessen the pain you feel but I hope in time you will remember her like I will with compassion and love for her music....

Good words.

I just kept telling myself today: "Think about what she achieved and what she left us."

That will live forever and ever.

Will we ever get over it? No, but the feelings become callous over time. It'll become like how I feel listening to Nirvana or Elliott Smith to me, for example. I was a kid when Kurt Cobain died and I cried the whole day. Ever single word means so much when put in the light of death and despair. You now realize the actual pain they went through, it becomes much more pronounced. Right now it's just so upsetting and I can't listen to it, but in time it'll get easier. Death changes so many things, all the music, even the happiest of songs become cryptic and melancholy. Seeing her picture everywhere and seeing her face makes us cry, but in time it'll just rustle our hairs a bit. Time heals. I still can't believe this day has come, with only 4 years apart from her, it shows me how fragile life really is. It will get easier, hang in there. Man this really sucks...

*and if what calls itself a world should
have the luck to hear such singing*
