I will defintely be watching this tonight. It's going to be very bittersweet because she had so much potential and who knows what other projects she could have done in her short career but in that short career she accomplished quite a lot: winning 5 Grammys in one night, winning awards for her songwriting skills, 2 great albums (one of which has shot up to being the most selling album in the 21st century in the UK), her iconic beehive trademark and style that lead to being involved with a Fred Perry clothing line, her ability to pave the way for other fellow singers to bring back what real music is all about, and her vocals and special sound that featured in her music in which I don't think can ever be done again the way she did it.

Yes, she accomplished quite a lot and this tribute is sad but it's a celebration of her innate talent, a talent that doesn't appear everyday and one that only comes once in a while.

Dionne is in LA I think. I wonder if she'll be at the VMAs. I'd love for her to sing "Love Is A Losing Game" at the end of Adele and Gaga.
