so wonderful to see an Amy 2011 interview. I'm so incredibly sad right now. just full of meloncholy. I have known these feelings of utter sadness would hit me hard w/this release. I intend on buying one for my brother, who also adores Tony and loves Amy. I wonder if the pre order is available on Amazon now, Elsie? I'll have to check.
thanks, Dear Elsie for posting. I would never have seen it because I don't have reason to go to mtv website.

The first time I met Tone- can I call him Tone? (nods) Thanks. The first time I met Tone- should you ask him first, really, before we start? The first time I met Tone was, I took my dad, my stepmother, and my boyfriend to see him at Royal Albert Hall and we went both nights.
When my dad saw that me and Tone would be singing "Body and Soul", my dad personally, himself, said (imitating Mitch) "Oh, it's only my favorite song in the world you're going to sing. Oh my God, do you even know it?". And I was like, "Of course I know it, Mitchell, I'm your daughter. Of course I know it."
Um, and it was really exciting that he chose that song because I do love it and it's such a beautifully written song and it's a song you can do a lot with. So I was really excited to sing that and um, the ending just worked out like perfect. Us singing together just blended perfectly and it couldn't have been better. (smiling)

They don't let anyone outside US see the videos... And they only post certain things on MTV US. Ofcourse, things I would most like to see, like this one. >:-( It's available for preorder, yes!
Thanks so much for your effort, whatsinsideher! I hope someone uploads it to youtube sometime soon.

...her voice sounds so much deeper. She seems so put together and healthy. Makes you smile and tear up at the same time. Ffs, what happened? I can't wrap my head around it. Life played some insanely cruel tricks with her.

Also, at the end of the song she kisses her Star of David pendant, I wonder if she is thanking God that she was able to do this? or perhaps sending love up to her Nan ?
What do you think?

Her irritation with her dad was funny. She even called him "Mitchell", like he was some wayward boy.
There was something different about her face in the last months of her life. Not sure what it was. Fuller? Maybe because she was drinking? She seemed coherent and together though, so I was happy to see that.

Amy should have done more stuff like this, gone on the road with Tony or something. Those big venue shows never fit her.

I agree about the face. And her voice was deeper. But O My God, how wonderful and bittersweet to watch and see and hear her again. She was so precious. I just love how characteristic she was, her tone was so comforting. Just hearing her intonation and seeing her little smile and eyes, brings me so much joy, honestly.
