To be honest, she sounds quite annoyingly driven and ambitious and certain of her own talent: the kind of person I would not have wanted to be friends with at that age! I proabbly would have been quite jealous of her and intimidated, I didn't like those kind of girls at my school.

I know this is old but does anyone still have that 1997 interview? x
Can't find it at the moment, unfortunately I'll keep trying and update the thread.
Although, here's an older post from 2007 that has both Sylvia Young's public plea to Amy (heartbreaking...) and a thirteen-year-old Amy's essay application to Sylvia Young Theatre School.
