I've written a song in memory of Amy, and just made it public on YouTube, with links to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

I hope you like it, and that it helps to raise awareness in some small way:

how lovely that Amy meant so much to you that you would choose to honor her memory by writing such a lovely melody, and at the same time have good intentions to help raise awareness thru the works of the foundation.

so so moving. the photo montage making it all the more poignant.

when the music and lyrics change @2:44 and the proceeding sequence....that really captures how each of us felt at the very moment we heard of Amy's passing on that awful day.

Thanks very much for the kind messages. It means a lot.

I wanted to try and do something positive with the song, and with encouragement from my family and a friend, I finally decided to make the video fully public yesterday.

Let's hope it helps the foundation.

Actually, yes I did send a link to Mitch and also to the foundation, but never heard anything back, but that's ok. I'm sure they're very busy with everything, and I know they have a great single out of Amy with Tony Bennett, 'Body and Soul', available now on iTunes, with most of the money raised going to the foundation, which is great.
