Someone broke into Amy's house after her death. They stole something like unreleased lyrics and something else. Did Mitch and Janis ever got things back? And even so, who did it and what was really stolen?

Really tasteless to broke into someone dead's house just after they have died. idiots.

Strange because I think it is horrible and I wanted to know if something happened afterwards.
I just thought someone broke into the house when no one else was there but if it was something that only could have happened between family, friends and the police? then it is fucked up!

didn't Mitch tweet something about this? can't recall now. things seemed such a blur following 7/23 but I was thinking he mentioned something to this effect in a tweet. I remember thinking at the time I was hoping it was just someone looking out for anything valuable and in all the confusion, they had not mentioned that they had moved it to a safer place.

we never have heard any updates about this, have we? odd and I've wondered about this from time to time also.

I do not know what really happened or what have happened afterwards that they reported that someone had broken into Amy's house. If anyone hear anything then post it in this thread. Been thinking about it alot! I want the people that stole her stuff to get punished and put all this into justice. It is not okay!

I remember reading that Mitch said only a select group of people had keys to the house and he had a good idea about who stole her stuff. Whoever it was took 2 journals and a lyric book (or either 2 lyric books and a journal, something like that).

I don't know how true the story is, but I read it on this forum a few days after Amy had died, so...
