This is from the Daily Star quoting "a pal of Traviss" so is probably completely made up.
NO AMY WINEHOUSE BOOK FOR LOYAL REG
Amy Winehouse’s former boyfriend Reg Traviss has turned down a £1million deal to write a book about the late star.
The 34-year-old said he wants to keep private his memories of life with the Back To Black singer.
The film director had an on-off relationship with Amy who was found dead in her flat in July, aged 27.
A pal of Traviss said: “Reg has had loads of offers to write a book about his life with Amy but he says it would be just too painful.
“He also wants to keep as many of his memories with Amy completely private.
“He’s making a film in memory of her but he won’t start working on that for a while because it’s all still too raw.”
Last week Mitch Winehouse revealed he is to publish a memoir about his daughter, with the proceeds going to the charity set up in her name.
The cab driver has said the book, My Daughter, will detail the “true story” about the singer.
He said: “I feel that I need to write this book to tell the true story of Amy and to help with my personal recovery.”

As you said, anything from the Daily Star take with a cup full of salt lol but if it IS true then it is prove, if ever any was needed, of the complete difference in Reg and that scum Fielder-Civil

Dapper lad! He seems like a really nice person, first time hearing him speak. It's bittersweet hearing him describe their plans for that wedding and all, you can imagine Amy being happy and upbeat about it... It's fantastic that she was recovering, but how happy can you be with that after what followed... So unfair.
He still stands in spite of what his Mars bar says.

I didn't find him particularly attractive in pictures but seeing him in interviews, I can definitely see what she saw in him! He seems like a good guy, they made such a lovely couple. It's a shame she couldn't have found him sooner but I'm glad that they had some time together.
