October 31 when I was in the city garage with my mother I suddenly heard Amy's voice. I didn't hear it clear at first but I moved towards the speaker so I could hear it and I heard it was 'Cupid' playing. But this was not a version of the song that I had heard before. And I was so confused (especially because I had read about the new record being released earlier in the day) then I came to think about my cell phone and figured I should record the sound so I could share!

Now why I haven't thought about this earlier, well.. I just totally forgot I recorded this.

Has anyone else heard this version before? I really love it and got totally excited when I heard it!

Anna-Marie, I for one have never heard this version and you're right; it definitely has a cuban brass backup. I have to say that I love this version better than the only other one I've heard, which was more reggae feel.

If anyone knows the history, could u please be kind enough to share? was this another demo version of Cupid that got scrapped in favor of the reggae inspired version?

Yes, wow. I have never heard this version either so I was really surprised to hear this in the garage where my mom works. Lol!

Hope anyone share thoughts of this version and maybe tell us something more about it!

LOL! That was what I feared. Noooo. Haha. Then it was nothing new. I love that version though. I never heard it before! And I think the garage management pick their music very well!

Nice to hear it again! It was part of some artists' charity project. Love the arrangement, but I think Amy's vocal track is the same as the album version. Wish there was an alternate version of You're Wondering Now. I always thought the guitar tone on the album version was shrill and annoying.
