She was overheard telling her friends in her favourite north London pub, The Hawley Arms: "I love Jamaica and I want to feel Bob Marley's spirit in my music.
"I want to stay where he lived and hook up with Damian because he's a genius. I'm desperate to get over there."

Doh! Thanks, but not at all.

It seems to me that Amy have a thing for reggae even before Back To Black, no? There's quite a few jazz/soul artist that does music like this, but I'm just wondering any artists from her favorite influenced her. I love Just Friends. I always have a thing for jazz/soul reggae. Which lead me to think if Amy inspired/helped Dionne's Time Will Tell. It's such a Back to Black with reggae feel to it, but not lyrics wise.

It's such a sad thing that she's not around anymore. Orelse I would do her to put out a jazz/soul reggae album and that seems like her new direction she's going with her third album. I had that feeling. Time will Tell kinda shows. which I kinda think Amy helped out with Time Will Tell. It's such her music than Dionne...
