I don't mind it. Of course it'd be great to see the album advertised everywhere, but she doesn't need it. She's in everyone's head, heart, ipod and conversations now and her talent is undeniable. I have no doubt her album is gonna reach number 1 in many countries with or without publicity.

agreed. it's an "emotional buzz" rather than a commercial one.

I get all that, but it would be nice, as opposed to all tha negative shit they attribute to Amy, be nice to see her given attention for her music, past n recent, instead of dross bein rammed down our throats, tis tha principle of it! x

Well done to our friends over the water for supporting true british talent, in fact one of the greatest british female singer songwriters this country has ever produced.

Its such a shame a lot of our younger people are more interested in the manufactured rubbish thrown at us, I aint goin to mention the bands or the TV programmes, we all know who they are

Honestly, I prefer it this way. I get what you guys want more publicity but I honestly think it'd be a bit distasteful if they had ads for it all over tv. I'd hate for it to become one of those albums that's released after a singer's death that become all about profit :-/
I think it should remain the case that he was always about the music. She didn't care whether she sold 100 or 1 million copies, as long as it was a product that she was round of creatively. I think that should be remembered.

And as Liv and Léa said, the fact remains that it'll sell no matter what >:-)

It will likely take the lead before the release.

The record company has a lot on its plate. WE need to do much of the promo ourselves.

I think the fans have been doing a pretty good job. TONS of effort on facebook and twitter and the blogs.

I don't KNOW that we can hold LHT at #1 thru December 24, but it will reach #1 pretty fast out of the gate.

If everybody just keeps doing what they are doing - and does it a little harder - we should be fine.

Yeah, I think some ads would be useful, not targeted for Amy fans but to others, you know... Just to inform ( esp outside UK), just to remind the public that Amy's life was all about music.
