Tyler is auditioning for 'The Voice UK' tonight. Here is an article in today's Mail where he discusses Amy. I am sure there will be You Tube footage of his audition once it has been aired for people outside UK. I'll post when they appear if you want.

She was a worldwide superstar when she was alive and now late singer Amy Winehouse is helping her best friend carve out his own music career from beyond the grave.
Tyler James, who is also an ex-lover of the star, has auditioned for The Voice and will be seen taking to the mic on tonight's show.
The 30-year-old hopeful has spoken out about his devastation over Amy's death.

And he's insisted her passing away has inspired him to take up music again to help him find his feet and overcome the devastation.

He said: 'Last summer it was the worst day of my life. Amy died and my whole life changed.

'Now she’s here with me, I know that. It’s about me finding my own feet and the only way for me that I’m ever going to find that is through music.'

He added: 'We were like two peas in a pod - we were like two halves of the same person.'
Tyler had been friends with Amy since they were teenagers when they met at the Sylvia Young stage school.

The pair became on/off lovers and Winehouse once said: 'We're mates who s**g.'
He was often seen accompanying the tragic singer, who died last year at the age of 27, during nights on the town.
And he has even been credited with launching her into a worldwide superstar.
Tyler sent off her demo in 2001 urging a management company to take her on.
She was then signed by Simon Fuller's 19 Management and went on to release hit albums Frank and Back to Black.
Now it appears Tyler is hoping to emulate her success by auditioning for the judges on the BBC1 talent show.
And he impressed one mentor at least - will.i.am told him: 'You sounded good.'
Although it is not his first shot at fame.
The singer/songwriter has previously released a single called Foolish in 2004.
But it could cause controversy as it was with Universal records, who are offering the winner of the TV show the prize of a contract with them.
And while Tyler is set to impress on tonight's programme, it will also be a catty affair as the competition heats up between the judges.
