This page may be a useful primer for folks who don't know anything/much about the AWF.

The AWF has a fine UK website, but it can be a bit overwhelming to newcomers.

The single-page primer may tell folks enough to get them interested, without overpowering their ability to absorb info. They can then fully explore both the UK and USA websites as their interest is stirred.

The primer concept is not perfect, but it might be a fair start.
