Nice song, always found her voice to be really annoying though, too nasal and whiny.

I want to see the lyrics too! So far, it sounds good. She's so lucky to have known Amy and be so close to her.

Life is like a pipe, & I'm a tiny penny rolling up the walls inside. - Amy Winehouse "back to black"
Amy Jade Winehouse in my heart, mind, and ears FOREVER my lioness.

I think Dionne is worth keeping an eye on. Obviously she's young and sounds it but I can hear traces of Amy in there. She has all the opportunity in the world to refine her talent so hopefully that's what she'll do.

I have just watched Dionne on 'Sunday Brunch' (aw isn't she lovely) She talked a little about how Amy was her Godmother and how she was so inspired by seeing the black butterfly at Amy's funeral that she wrote the song. Her Album is out early next year. Looking forward to it!
I love you in a place where there's no space or time...Forever you will be a true friend of mine:)

An interview with Dionne in the Daily Star.
Sweet interview but some of the comments on the website are horrid (I shouldn't have read them) - God people are vile. Grrrrrr

[h=1]Dionne Bromfield: Amy Winehouse's still here[/h] TODAY Amy Winehouse should have been celebrating her 30th birthday, surrounded by family and friends, the life and soul of the party.
Instead one of British music’s brightest stars was lost aged just 27, in July 2011, when she died after a vodka binge at her flat in Camden, north London.
But her god-daughter, Dionne Bromfield, believes Amy is still watching over her.
Amy signed singer Dionne, 17, to her label, and her last public appearance before her death was on stage with her protégée.
“I still feel connected to Amy,” explains Dionne. “When you lose somebody, no matter what, they’re always going to be with you.
“You might not physically be able to see them, but they will be there.
“I’m very superstitious, so when things happen, I think: ‘Hang on, that was meant to happen for a reason’ or ‘Oh my god, is that Amy?’
“Or even dreams. I’ve had dreams so close to reality you kind of think: ‘Was she there for that second?’”
The pair were as close as sisters, and rather than hell-raising nights out, Dionne remembers girly afternoons.
“She loved doing my nails and she loved long fake round nails,” smiles Dionne.
“I used to call them hoochie mama nails.
“We’d watch TV a lot, it was like having an older sister.”
Even though Amy is no longer with us, Dionne is still influenced by her hugely talented godmother.
She is preparing to release a new album next year after a three-year break and has learned from what Amy taught her.
“The majority of the songs are written by myself and a few co-writers,” she says. “Amy always said to me: ‘Write your music.’ She drilled it into my head so much.”
Dionne also shares Amy’s love of fashion and beauty. She is the latest brand ambassador for imPRESS by Broadway Nails, Kiss Haute Couture lashes and Kiss Nail Wraps and is loving showing off her brightly-coloured press-on nails and fluttery lashes.
“I think in this industry, looking good is very important,” she says. Last night Dionne joined Amy’s fans, friends and family at a karaoke-style event in Camden as part of the month-long celebrations for the star, called #Amys30.
There’s also an exhibition of photos of the Back To Black singer at Proud Galleries in Camden, which is particularly poignant for Amy’s parents, Mitch, 60, and Janis, 57.
Mitch explains: “I try not to concentrate too much on the photographs because some of them are personal. There’s one Amy commissioned herself, of her hoovering and smoking. That’s Amy all over.”

The Amy Winehouse Foundation is doing great work helping young people all over the country, and it also helps her parents feel close to her.
“It means Amy is a part of our life everyday,” says Mitch.
“From this month we’re at 50 schools around the country, up north, down south.
“We will be talking to 50,000 kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol along with other things, self harm, self image.”
The Foundation’s projects include feeding 65 homeless people in Camden every day, plus sponsoring a dozen people in rehab and giving scholarships to the Sylvia Young Drama School, attended by Amy.
Mitch says: “Even after just over two years of Amy not being here she’s had an overwhelming impact on young people.
“Who would have though that in 2007 or 2008 when there were pictures of Amy suffering?
“Nobody chooses to be a drug addict or an alcoholic. People are far more understanding than they were then.
“They understand what Amy was about, she was a good kid.”
