I have lost count of the amount of up & coming singers that have been labeled 'the new Amy Winehouse' by the press, and they all sound exactly the same. It's even becoming a trend now amongst young modern pop singers to sing as if they have some kind of speech impediment. The same goes for Youtube cover singers as well. It sounds absolutely atrocious and I can't believe that they get mentioned in the same breath as Amy and this is what passes as 'unique' singing nowadays!
