Yes, he announced his retirement on his 50th birthday back in May. Love him! He do come across as younger than 50 though. It's sad to know we won't get new music from him but he's certainly earned early retirement. I would like him to work with Dionne Bromfield, that'd be dope! Thank you for the music Salaam!

He has a bunch of leftover recordings from his sessions with Amy. Fingers crossed we'll get to hear them someday despite his well-earned retirement.
