1-amy covered be my baby by the ronettes for back to black. It was scrapped and selled chorus to Mutya. rumors says mark was the person who producted it.

 

2- Amy recorded at least two songs from her new album. She even talked about them in 2008 or 2007.

 

3-It is believed that there are tens, perhaps hundreds, of cover recordings.

I'm sure this is true.

 

That girl's life was 60s music and she had a studio in her house. she also loved doing covers... soo....

 

4-David did not destroyed any demo. He acted like it so no one would try to access/hack them.

Although I also believe that the material has not been destroyed but it is still strange that it has not been published now after some time (perhaps for the 10 year anniversary)

2-Amy said in this interview that she wrote two eps(). And this interview was done 4 years before Amy died. This woman had a studio in her house and it is IMPOSSIBLE that she didn't record what she wrote in 4 years.

 

3-This is already known. she even sang covers at her concerts.

 

 

4-I don't remember it exactly, I think her father said.

 

 

Oh also another information.

 

There are some songs she recorded with neon hitch. But neon is adamant not to share or sell them.

Thank you very much! The info about the Ronettes' song is AMAZING. Never heard that rumor before since 2006. Now that I think of it, it DOES make sense. Why would Amy record just the chorus of "Be my Baby"? I mean, it was in 2006 when Amy was at her prime and 'Be my Baby" is a classic. The big question is: Does Mark have that recording?

 

On the other hand, I find a bit jealous Neon's attitude of not sharing those songs (if they managed to record it) but let's be honest: if those recordings took place in 2008 (as in the well-known footage on YouTube) then probably they weren't the best...

She also had a studio in her previous house in Hadley Wood. It was up in the top floor attic and was where Salaam recorded her singing 'A Song For You'.

I talked to Neon and she and amy actually had songs she recorded. But she doesn't want to sell them. I understand her because I remember she had a relationship with amy and I'm sure those songs are very special to them.

 

I'm sure there are hundreds of songs amy has recorded.
she continued to record covers even in 2010.

I don't understand why they are so insistent on not releasing these songs... For us fans, sound quality dont mean anything. It would be perfect for us to even hear Amy's unreleased voice records etc.

 

Amy's life was music.

And it would be foolish to believe that in her 27 years of life she only recorded about 60 songs including unreleased songs.

Of course.

She is also a musician and works with many singers. Amy was photographed with Her many times while she was still alive.

And she doesn't deny that she has recordings with Amy.

B-Boy Baby was produced by Salaam Remi. In an interview he said he had recorded Amy singing the chorus to Be My Baby and joking around with the lyrics during the BTB recording sessions, so he used this in Mutya’s song. Amy and Mutya were mates. I don’t think she recorded a cover of Be My Baby.

Amy stated that she had recorded Gutter and Our Souls Ain’t Sole in an interview with Q Magazine in 2009. She also said on twitter that she had finished Gutter. These songs are presumably unreleased because she had had second thoughts about them before she died.
