Came across this audio on YT tonight for the first time, so apologies to those who know of this already for a repeat.
This performance is so good, I think, because of how hoarse she is. Because her throat wasn't cooperating that day for whatever reason, she had to think of different ways to work around it: elongating the notes, maybe relying less on vocal runs as she likes to add in, using different pitches to ensure she wouldn't have a voice crack.
I also find it cute how at the end there she sings "love is a losing hand" rather than "love is a losing game." She doesn't necessarily notice when going into it, notices when she's in the middle, and tentatively commits to it at the end. It's the quirks of a live performance with a real person.
