I have recently heard and become interested in Lauryn's music. Of course, I couldn’t help but thinking in her influence on Amy's music.
Has anyone known of an interview in which Amy talks specifically about Lauryn? I couldn’t find none unfortunately. Thanks

In an interview at the Brits 2003 (not 100% sure though) she talked about Lauryn's influence on her and appreciated her work. I also saw somewhere on the forum in the Interview section where she said she attended a Lauryn concert.

"Or even compared or even mentioned in the same breath as Ella Fitzgerald or Lauryn Hill or Erica Badu you know that is an amazing thing,You know and you know i'm not the only girl that feels blessed to have grown up in an age where we can have Lauryn Hill's album and Erics Badu's albums and not only where and not only in an age where we can hear them but in an age where i'm you know in an age where i'm young and we grow to those albums and we shape our lives to these albums and how these women profile themselves as real women."

I remember reading an interview around the time of Back to Black's release where she said Lauryn Hill was the only contemporary singer she was still listening to. She also told a story of taking Dionne to a Lauryn Hill concert where Lauryn went on a bit of a rant about something for half an hour (not an uncommon thing for her) and Amy thought it was disrespectful. Can't remember the context of the anecdote but think it was on the topic of concert etiquette.
