It's real. 'Rhythms Del Mundo: Classics' was the second in a series of benefit discs created by some of the 'Buena Vista Social Club' regulars, along with a collection of UK and domestic rock and pop acts. Album proceeds from this project benefited the environmental nonprofit organization 'Artists Project Earth', which helps to raise awareness and funds for climate change projects and disaster relief efforts.
Amy donated her original vocal track of 'Cupid' and the Buena Vista Social Club added their Cuban instrumentation around it.
