I used to wear ballet slippers, the pink satin ones, on the street. If you get a size bigger you can put inserts in them. However they are uncomfortable and bad for your arch no matter what. They get dirty the second you hit the streets and they will begin to smell. I used to have 3 or 4 pairs around. Each one would last about 3 months.
