Why do people have to zoom in on photos to look for imperfections?
We all have them, but we really don’t need to to have them pointed out to the whole world! I suppose when you are as famous, talented and in the public eye constantly as Amy, you have to learn to accept being scrutinised and picked apart, but not let it get you down! Amy is attractive, super talented and seems like she has a great sense of humour, and famous too. She is definitely not perfect, so who really cares about what ‘marks or wrinkles’ she has on her body! I just know she has an awesome talent and seems like she is down to earth and happy and secure in herself and image.
In the photo she looks relaxed, happy, self confident and real! I don’t really care about any imperfections she has or hasn’t! I have things about myself that I don’t particularly like, but when I point them out to my husband, he tells me he doesn’t notice them or that he likes them, and loves me for just being me and not what I look like! I have a fantastic husband and love him to bits, and I am sure Blake thinks Amy is fantastic!!
Lets just concentrate on supporting Amy, after all thats what this forum is for isn’t it?
I know people will say they are just concerned or worried for her, but she looks absolutely fine to me! I don’t think Amy would be too pleased to see zoomed in photos of herself on this forum, that you would normally only see in certain gutter tabloids!!

think ya going a bit ott there kayjay its not like we’re all sittin here going “ewwww she’s such a mess, she’s ugly/hideous” think people are just worried about how much weight she has actually lost! yes we are here to support her, but supporting people also included looking out for them and worrying about them, and after them pics a few people are worried, nothing wrong with that
Hi Littlealie, It might seem ott, but the pics above are all about small imperfections not her weight! Her weight is not mentioned in the above. I just get defensive when people pick out faults that otherwise wouldn’t be noticed unless really scrutinised, thats all! Its like they have got a magnifying glass on her!! We can worry about her, but zooming in on her body is a little bit too personal in my eyes! This is just my personal reaction to the photo and the zoomed in shots. She does get a lot of comments about her weight though, as it is so noticable, but we would never have noticed what they picked up, when they zoomed in specifically!
her weight has been mentioned a couple of times in this topic… and the reason for the “imperfections”…is probably the massive weight loss… so i’d say this topic was about her weightloss and the implications its had on her body (eg stretched skin…saggy flesh) if she was a bit more weighty, i dont think anyone on this forum would zoom in on a bit of a stretch mark i can see where ur coming from and its your opinion…i’m just giving mine

Sorry Littleali, I stand corrected, her weight is mentioned a couple of times above, I hadn’t really took much notice of those comments, as was reacting to the other comments, I can see where you’re coming from too, and realise everyone is just voicing their concerns and not being critical of her! I am on the defensive today aren’t I! lol x
Those photos are quite worrying. I really hope she puts some weight on. It’s nice to see abit of debate happening on the forum! 
Yeah, i posted photos from that day to the gallery yeserday. Shes had her stretch marks for years, but i think, w all that wieght loss, bad diet and fake tan, tehyre more apparent. Her skin looks very old. But we know she doesnt live very healthily. But these little imperfections dont make her ugly, its just a bit worying as a lot of ya are saying. Shes beautiful, and i wish shed take care of herself more. Its not a big deal, ive got stretch marks myself, and i was never really fat. You inherit them or not, its that simple.
I don’t think it was wrong for these pictures to be posted, after all this is a AW forum and we just like discussing her right? As long as no one, especially a “fan” is attacking her over it, I don’t think its a problem ;]
Personally I dont think it’s a nice thing to repost such extreme close-ups. It’s bad enough that gossip-rags feel the need to publish such pix, but on a fan-forum? I think it’s a violation of some boundaries, isn’t it? If you consider who gets to see such extreme close-ups of your bodies, it’s most likely only friends, care-takers, lovers and so on. So why do we think it’s okay to zoom into her pictures to that degree? I think it’s a horrible trend that popstar’s bodies seem to become public property once their first single hits number one. It’s one thing to get your picture taken all the time as soon as you leave your house, but it’s another thing to have the pix blown up, visually dissected and then discussed by a bunch of voyeuristic strangers who claim to be your fans. That must be really really weird. I think whoever thinks it’s ok to repost such blown up close-ups, should grab a magnifying mirror, stare at his/her own stretch-marks, butt-pimples or cellulite for ten minutes and then think about it, if he/she would really be ok having a pic of that part of his/her body blown up, posted on the net and then discussed. And I don’t buy the “we’re just worried”-thing. Honestly, do we really need extreme close-ups of her tits to figure out that she’s frighteningly skinny? Or is it maybe just an excuse to engage in that kind of voyeurism? I realise this is a really weird first post, sorry if I come across as angry, I’m actually not (it’s luckily not about my boobs after all…), I just tried to imagine how I would feel…
