AMY WINEHOUSE’s husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL is going back to jail after failing a drugs test.

The junkie, 26, dashed to his wife’s hospital bedside last night from rehab after being told the news.

He could now be in jail until early 2010 after breaking the early release terms of his 27-month sentence.

A source said: “Blake did a runner. He turned up in hospital and hell broke loose — everyone was totally shocked.

“He was asking Amy to forgive him. As he was going back inside anyway he felt he didn’t have much to lose.”

Fielder-Civil, who had been at Live Works rehab in Woking, Surrey, planned to hand himself in to cops after an evening with her.

A source said: “If he had stayed in prison last month rather than taking the rehab option he was set to be released at the end of this month. He’s blown it.”

Pals of troubled Back To Black star Amy, 25, said having him locked up was good for her.

She has not visited Fielder-Civil since he went into rehab and refused to pay the £30,000 bill until he persuaded her to.

Then last week she was rushed to hospital after a row with him on the phone sent her on a booze and drug bender.

Lawyers visited her to discuss divorce, but pals say Fielder-Civil threatened to harm himself if she left him.

Amy’s friend said yesterday: “She had finally started stepping up divorce proceedings again but he started phoning again and getting inside her mind.

“Now he is out of the picture again she can concentrate on getting her life on track.”

In July Fielder-Civil was jailed for assault and trial-fixing.

Why is it a shame? he was released early so long as he got treatment & stayed off drugs. If he had waited he wouldn’t have had he tag or conditions, stupid really

You’re right, it’s his own fault. I just think it’s a bit sad that he messed up again, that’s all.

Like I’ve said before the media has a way of exacerbating the problem. I’m sure Blake has Internet access or knows someone that has access to the media! Sometimes people can’t figure out the simplest solutions to a problem, if Blake was serious about recovery and getting his wife back, he’d have his shit together. Sigh.

Ok - something doesn’t make a whole lot of sense here, because on Sunday he was apparently willing to let her go for her own good, and yesterday he’s threatening to harm himself if she divorces him?

Anyway, whatever the story is, emotional blackmail rarely works, and is so manipulative. It’s a rotten thing to do to anyone.

It seems there are more stories related to Amy when she stays away from paparazzi and public. It’s a new twist every day, they can’t even make a story and stick with it…

I know - it’s ridiculous. I think the tabloids are just so desperate to be first with their inside scoops and ‘exclusives’ that they just print the first thing that comes into their heads. All they have to do is quote ‘sources’ and ‘close friends’. Unreal.

I hope all this nonsense doesn’t get to Amy. I know she acts like she’s really thick-skinned and that it doesn’t bother her - but having your private life analyzed and printed every single day would have to get to even the strongest of people at some point.

I do wonder if this has an effect on her already fragile state of mind.

That’s why it’s important that fans keep the eye on the prize, which is Winehouse’s recovery. All we can do is speculate and gossip, but not let the nonsense affect us. If Winehouse isn’t bothered, neither should we concern ourselves. I think it’s slanted journalism not to cover and applaud Winehouse for her attempt at recovery, she’s not photographed looking sad, sick and not her best but to only cover Blake’s alleged manipulating.
