No need for that garbage here - take your hatred and hostile attitude elsewhere.

Seriously…that was so uncalled for

It’s just plain wrong to kick someone when they’re down

Only 8 posts and I’m already losing patience with you, Into The Sinking. The first thing you did when you came on here is support the views of a guy that was, let’s say, not very fond of homosexuals. And now you’re bashing on that one person that everyone on here adores? What is your problem?! There is no place for this kind of behaviour on this board, and if you keep it up, there will be consequences.

This person is wicked and wishing death, saying she’s a waste of space, what did she ever do to you to warrant that?!

Im lucky enough to have seen her in top form the other week but I have to admit I’d be singing the same song as “Into the sinking” if I’d missed out on the gig, paid all that money etc. The fans have put her where she is now and she’s letting them down. Hopefully she’ll kick the drugs and use the time off wisely.

So money is worth more than a person life. (Don’t get me wrong I’d be upset too if I lost money too). I don’t get what people don’t get. She’s a person with addictions/mental problems needs help not hurtful words.

i understand the anger, when hard working folks get hit in the pocket they get pissed. i know i was, eating non refundable service charges when she cancelled the US tour. but i think the way out of it is to step back and out of feeling victimized and realize that you made a choice to buy a ticket based on the fact that she is a hit-or miss performer with a history of cancellations. you take the chance, own the choice you made.
no need to be ugly here!

That’s right! I am not rich yes it would hurt me but that was terrible what he said! And I went checking up on his past post…supoorts anti-gay sig and everythings cool unless it’s a Muslim Vegetarian, I AM A MUSLIM AND A VEGETARIAN.

YOU REALLY ARE A FUCKING WANKER AND TOTALLY TASTELESS.

Just ignore INTO THE SINKING.
He/she is just trying to wind everyone up.
Forget him/her and they will vanish.

You know what, I’ll take this up with Wino or Mandy. He has only posted 8 times and managed to upset people with 6 or 7 of them. Good bloody job.

Thanks M.

Alright, I took care of it. IntoTheSinking has been warned, and will be banned the next time he does anything of this nature.

Here’s some more reviews of Amy…some good…some bad

Well, I read the first one, and it said this about the band:

Her backing band were awful, out of tune, badly mixed and ego centric.

Now I don’t know about anyone else, but this is the first time I’ve ever read anything negative about the band - it doesn’t make sense to me - the band have been holding things together! So I ignored the rest of that particular review!

Hee hee - the other reviewers are slagging off whoever wrote that frist review!!

I am just surprised that the reviews were coherent, usually with splash…you get the crazies and dizzies

Into the sinking, pease try to respect people’s feelings. Fair enough you’re pissed off - I would be too, believe me, but can we not slag Amy off? Try to find other words for expressing your annoyance. Your posts are being moderated from now on until I feel you’ve learnt to speak more carefully.
Thanks.

A nice letter in Brighton’s Evening Argus today - I may have to vote Green now, lol! Not on the website yet so I’ve typed it here…

Stop whining about Amy

Like your correspondent and arts critic, I attended the Amy Winehouse gig at the Brighton Centre on Monday.

Yes she was late, a bit out of tune and forgot words to some songs but surely that’s the risk we take when listening to live music? Anyone who wants a faithful reproduction of her album can listen to it at home.

I have nothing but sympathy for Amy and her excellent band. She has been hounded by the Press for being a victim of vulnerabilities, drumming up controversy, hits, awards and sell-out gigs along the way, making more money for the record company than herself.

Amy’s descent into drug-and-drink related ill-health is largely a product of the greed of the record industry, the fashion industry and Britain’s judicial system.

As a member of the Sussex Police Authority I had visited Eastbourne police’s purpose-built PFI-funded custody centre a few hours earlier.

Conditions, despite the genuinely caring attitude of the officers who run it, are bleak.

If someone I loved was being held in such conditions, even though they haven’t been convicted of the crime, I don’t think I’d be able to turn up for work and give my all to a sell-out crowd either.
