I have this question that’s been bothering me…Tyler was her great friend but what about the fact that he was the one that bought the mini vodka for her before she went to rehab in May. You can see it on you tube . And he accompanied her to Belgrade. I was wondering could he have been the one that bought the booze for her in Belgrade? I mean all the booze was banned by her management and someone must have helped her. He did it before…And he was with her during some of her her drug binges als well.
On the other hand they were true friends but…What do you think?
I didn’t even know about him giving her alcohol before rehab! I didn’t know he was there during the Belgrade performance, either. I don’t know what to think. If he was a true friend, I don’t see why he would enable her alcohol abuse.. Who knows.

Also, do you know if this was before or after Amy passed? It was uploaded in February of 2012.. so, I was just wondering.
For some reason, I just don’t like this. Amy’s version is just too far superior to even listen to this…

I feel bad for Amy, a lot of her “friends” were just driving her deeper into darkness, even if it was unintentionally.
I saw him on the pictures when Amy was boarding the plane after the Belgrade concert, and you can recognize him on the video of her buying wodka beacause of his hairdo. Long day was recorded by Tyler a couple of years ago.
But maybe he’s completely innocent, we’ll never know…
I think he was a good friend to her. They were friends for a long time and he is visably broken since she died. I think he seems upset and uncomfortable when he buys her that vodka before rehab. She has obviously begged him and he doesn’t seem happy about it. He says something to her just before she drinks it too like he is trying to talk her out of it and she just shrugs and does it. I mean, I obviously don’t know what went on but being friends with an alcoholic is difficult and they will do it whether you like it or not. Also, Tyler doesn’t drink so don’t think he encouraged her to… just my opinion…
Why don’t we take Tyler’s instrumental and Amy’s acapella and put the together?

I don’t think you should be angry at him for buying Amy alcohol. You know what addicts are like. I think he’s completely innocent. Both of them were adults, yes. But they were also friends. I think Amy was a strong character and he didn’t want to mess with her. Also, he wasn’t drinking, which is a thing that could encourage Amy to stop drinking as well, yet she didn’t.
He is gay?! But then, what about that?

I really like it. I can’t listen to Amy’s version because i just find it really hard to listen to songs that i really had a strong emotional connection to regarding Amy. I used to listen to her version everyday back in 2009. I love Amy’s version way more than his, but his is also really good!
