she clearly needs time off, get away from it all, a real break, work on new material if she wants
she just needs some amy time, time in her own head, i just thought after the grammys, her last confirmed commitment for b2b era
she would slowly slip away and get her shit together

Gotcha. I was really hoping she'd be ready for the summer festivals, but that might be a bit too soon. I don't know how it will all pan out, but it would be great if she went away, wrote some new songs and we didn't see her in the tabloids every day. I agree with what you're saying about the B2B era...

also it would be terrible for her to get up there, on such big stages (not size, but notoriety) and give a half arsed performance and crumble in the glare off hundreds of thousands of people

I know - that would be awful - the last thing she needs. I think you're right - the festivals/ big arenas are not the best venues to appreciate Amy - especially at the moment. It would be great if she came back in the autumn, and started off slow by doing a few gigs around the country in small, smoky jazz clubs, - with 10 tickets given away for each gig to lucky AWF members

Seriously, it would be a good way to ease into things and preview new material....

even if she just started by going into the clubs unannounced like she did a few weeks back
get up on stage and belt out a few tracks, she just needs time to get, not back into it, because she never really left
but maybe, start a fresh

I read a website (will post address later, can't remember lol) that said she was 'to be confirmed' for Glastonbury, but she's confirmed for Reading, T in the Park and V Festival.

I'm downloading the 07 lineup from Glastonbury, from TheBox.bz...Amy did great there (well, at least on the days that I've seen so far), but she was at some sort of stable point in her life then, i guess. With Blake #1 there to support her, and the continued success of BtB...

Michael Eavis has said he "really, really wants" Amy to be there

apparently its just been announced Amy will play glastonbury pyramid stage ,just ahead of jz
