She’s never been a big fan of rehab, but it seems that Amy Winehouse may be abandoning her preferences for the sake of finally getting healthy.

The Back to Black songstress was spotted arriving at the Stapleford Centre in South West London earlier today with a vacant expression on her face. Without delay, she proceeded to the Drugs and Alcohol specialist clinic.
Amy recently detailed to press her own prognosis for why she has such a penchant for trouble- she says that she’s young and bored. “To be honest, my husband’s away, I’m bored, I’m young. I felt like there was nothing to live for. It’s just been a low ebb.”

As for her past tries at getting clean, Winehouse claims she’s never gone all out. “I’ve never been to rehab, I mean, done it properly. I’m young, and I’m in love, and I get my nuts off sometimes. But it’s never been like: ’Amy, get your life together’.”

Well, anytime I see her close to a rehab center it makes me happy because at least she went there on her own. I don't get my hopes up though. Let's first wait if she is an in- or an outpatient. Maybe she finally realized she is having a BIG problem!?

Good for her... any news like that when you're an Amy fan gives you a reason to just, well, honestly, catch your breath. It's become allmost too painful waiting for the next shoe to drop. Up, down, forward, backward... she wears the shit out of me because I care too much. I wake up from sleep that she might not have made it through another night. What other fans can say they lose sleep over the mere fact that they're a fan of someone?
As great as she looked in Madrid, she did look vacant at times. Watching her perform "You're wondering now", she looks robotic in her movements. As she would say "the lights are on but no one's home".

If she has gone on her own, that's the biggest step yet. This is a big deal if true and she truly did it herself.
It's good she'll be in rehab when they sentence Blake, hopefully for years.

Take a look - see, whenenver she is ready, she'll know where to go and what to do! I was just talking with a co-worker and they said the reason why she hasn't hit rock bottom is because of all the attention see gets, whether it be fam, friends, or fans.

I think that is true, if she had nothing and no one left, then she would have to take it serious and really clean-up.

one of the things i love about amy is that she's never cared about fame and all the power it can give to someone.. an year ago you could see that she didn't gave a shit if she had 50 or 0 paparazzis following her.. you knew that she was probably one of the few artists that are here for the right reasons, because they love what they do, not because of everything else fame gives you. Anyway i think since 2008 started she's completely changed about all that (at least that's what it seems), like she cares about how many people are standing at her front door, how many covers she's been on this month, she's REALLY enjoying the attention and it could become a big problem. fame can be very addictive and could make you do the stupidest things just so that people would talk about you more. I hope it's not really the case.. i can stand drugs, blakey, a punch and the sun's very.. 'informative' tapes but i could never stand amy becoming a beehived paris hilton
