Troubled singer AMY WINEHOUSE is to have a second try-out as a DJ - after she disappointed partygoers at her first London club night by not playing a single record.
The Back to Black singer was due to hit the decks at the launch of her own regular club night at the Monarch pub in Camden, London in June (08).
But she baffled the crowd by merely dancing around the DJ booth while a friend controlled the music.
Now Winehouse has announced that she is to host another club night at the venue on Thursday (11Sep08), playing tunes along with DJ Bioux.
The night is called 'Snakehips' and is billed as a mix of 1960s girl groups, northern soul, beat and doo-wop tunes.

So much for the "AMY DROUGHT". Guess it was wishful thinking.
I don't recall the last gig she did there being a major fiasco, though the paps insinuated otherwise.

What the fuck did people expect? she probably did choose some of the music but the guy played the tracks (literally), like pressing the bloody play button.

I think these little outing wont harm her. Getting 100% locked up can't be good either. What she doesn't need is the exposure and just getting out of her house she's going to have a million flashes on her face.

If someone goes, remember that lovely story a girl wrote on her blog when she met her there. Hope it happens to anyone of you if you go there.

Well, her first jobs not going real well, maybe if she shows up on time to this one she may be on to a new career. She isn't going to the studio or even seeing blakety-blake-blake. Shit, she may one day be as good as Samantha Ronson!!
God knows a bar is more fun than rehab. This is obviously the clear choice that any mature 15 year old would make. Maybe Miley Cyrus will show up and they can dance together. Sorry, I think Miley actually works for a living.
