As an "alcoholic", I have honestly stayed away from the Amy boards a bit because 1. seeing her in these states makes me upset and 2. looking at these pictures can be a bit triggering! It's my own fault for looking at them and for clicking these articles as I know what I am going to see...but damn if seeing that just brings me back. It seems odd because she looks so horrible in the new pictures. I hate the way she looks and I hate that way of life. But it always brings me back to that feeling of, "I need a drink" or "I need to take something". It's just a feeling.

Anyway, I wonder if anyone else has experienced that?

It's too bad she missed out on her own party. =( It makes me sad that everyone came expecting her, especially her parents. :'-(

Maybe instead of a celebration, Winehouse was scared the party may turn into an intervention. She was probably really high, paranoid and self-conscious. Remember it took about 30 minutes to get Winehouse out of the hotel room when she received the Ivor Novello award?
