i had the longest week of my life, and by 6 pm yesterday i hadn't take a shower in two days, hadnt changed my clothes in three, and slept about 6 hours in 5 days. College and this new thing of having a life is becoming really stressful. I thought i would fall asleep playing, buuut in the end, we didnt sound good to me, but there was a looot of people and they all had fun and jumped and hit and pushed each other which was awesome
The sound was shit and, as usual, we got there super late so we couldnt have a soundcheck, but i had fun and thats what matters.
thanks again for all the nice wishes.

I'm sorry I wasn't there earlier to encourage you, but your description is wonderful. I think you're very brave, performing in public, which will make anyone feel vulnerable. Especially without time to even do a sound check. As a performer, you're obviously in awesome company: Amy's!;-) Getting a crowd on your side is incredibly exciting, and addictive too.thanks a lot ya'll. i really appreciate all the nice comments.

its an amazing thing, performing. When you cause a good reaction in the people that went to see you. all the adrenaline... you get off and want to do it the next night.
Anyway, this IS the first of many! If you believe, you can go as far as you want. See you on top!

it gets to a point where it doesn't even matter if you had a sound check, if you cant hear the rest of the band, or how many hour you slept the night before. I look up and i see my band playing like it was the last time, the people jumping, punching each other, screaming.. nothing else really matters. The last time i played live was with a jazz band. I drank whisky, concentrated and looked down while i played. I'm in a punk band now, everything is different and you want people to go fucking crazy so you can go insane with them.

Too right, you can!
This sounds like a freaking early Stooges, NY Dolls or Ramones gig!!!! Fuckin - A!

Let's all play the lottery this weekend, OK? Then whoever wins can take the rest of us to St. Lucia! Sue, you have lotto in Canada, right?
