Day 7 at rehearsals for Amy Winehouse's tour: Last day of rehearsals now, we are now Live and Loaded. Amy may have a secret gig in London tomorrow. That would be fun;-)

According to O Globo newspaper, Amy has renounced the traditional Rio de Janeiro's five-star hotels, where international stars stay when they come to Rio, to stay in the neighborhood of Santa Tereza and get to know the hype of the city. They report she already requested information about the region and would like to know this bohemian neighborhood of Rio.

Just a few days away from the first show in Brazil, here are the latest from the Brazilian press regarding all the preparations and anticipation for the shows:
> Tam Cargo, a Brazilian company that operates in the logistics market, was the company chosen to transport the equipment and musical instruments. The materials reached the state capital on the first day of 2011.
Hotel Santa Tereza
> Amy is said to be staying in Hotel Santa Tereza, in the South of Rio de Janeiro. According to Sunday's edition of O Dia deste Domingo, Amy wants a telescope in the room so she can enjoy the view of Guanabara Bay and the stars.
> Multishow Channel has a special treat for all Amy fans. They will air on Thursday, January 6th, a life documentary called Biography: Amy Winehouse. On Monday, January 10th, they will air Amy's concert at Porchester Hall. On Thursday, January 13th My Daughter Amy's documentary and the day after they will air a special on TVZ. She must be physically and mentally fit, too. I bloody well hope so. I feel like this is her last chance. I hope and pray it goes well for her. Good luck, Amy xxx

I guess I've about lost hope on her performing live. If I lived in Brazil, I wouldn't have bought a ticket.
Obviously, I hope I'm dead wrong.
