we have a statue of stevie ray vaughn in austin and it's awesome. there's a statue of freddie mercury in switzerland that's breathtaking just from the pictures. that's just a few.
amy won't be forgotten.

In my opinion, Stevie was THE best guitar player hands down. would have loved to have been at his last gig w/Clapton et al. Does his brother still perform, do you know?

i think stevie considered jimmie a better guitarist and in some technical aspects, may have been. but i'm sure jimmie knew better, it was just brotherly love.
a lot of visitor's first stop in austin is stevie ray's statue. it's near downtown, just off a hike and bike trail right by town lake. nobody has ever desecrated it but just leave flowers etc.
