Wow, this is intense. Hearing his version just brings so much sadness. She was such a lovely person. I wish so badly I could take this all back. Reg was so much better for her, they could have had a lovely life together. This is such a damn shame, it's hard to bare...What the hell happened between Belgrade and that terrible day. Happy birthday sweet Amy. We wish you were with us so badly.

Reading about the good things he says about Amy makes me feel better to know that side of Amy. She was such a good person. Reg is right she is a icon and always will be.Heaven gained another Angel.

I couldnt quite figure my way around the introduction thread so thought I'd say Hi here 
I'm Nikki, a huge Winehouse fan just like all of you guys, I'm sure.
I literally just read this interview before posting this comment. Not sure if it's exactly the same, but I read this one: (oh, haven't posted enough comments to allow me to post a link, but the piece was on the Telegraph website)
So hard to see how a single decision can have such an outcome

It was incredibly sad.. I feel like I'm crying right now. I really want to see the footage too. They were really happy back then.

We know what a lovely girl she is anyway, nice she finally find a lovely man, a real man, least she was happy recently and had real love with someone who deserved a gem like Amy, Reg reminds me of something out of the kray twins, cool look.

Although I don't like it when people talk to press about someone else, I can't help to feel for Reg. I hope he will be able to move on. I hope we all somehow will be able to move on from this. Happy birthday little Amy Jade, forever in our hearts. <3

I'm interested to whether Gordon Smart was actually friends with Amy? He wrote a nice article in The Sun when she passed and I saw him talk about her a few times respectfully... He seems surprisingly reasonable and smart for a showbiz journalist.
He still stands in spite of what his Mars bar says.
