Decided not to intrude on any other threads though and start this one.
It's less than 3 months left 'til then so seems about time to start planning so as many as possible can attend! All I know is that Susan's (tunisianswife) and my tickets are booked and we are going to be there the entire week. Amy's birthday is Friday that week and we both would love to meet up with as many of you as possible. To celebrate Amy's birthday and visit the places she loved and hang out.
Who's in? =)

Yeah, I guess it's too soon for most people to tell.
But felt I'd put this thread up so people can start planning far in advance!
Would be so fun to have a meeting and celebrate Amy's birthday!
I agree, I think it would be great, and maybe even more so if many people from here could attend. And I think you were right to start this thread now, so people can start planning as early as possible.
As far as I'm concerned, since I live on the northern coast of France, going to London is quite simple and quick, The thing is I won't know if I'll be able to take some days off of work and attend until late August/early September. Until then, I can at least start saving the money LOL(well, I'll try my best, 'cause I already planed a trip to England - including London- in August, and with the Olympics, it's even more expensive than it usually isLOL:-()...

Oh gosh, I'm so jealous. I so badly wanted to go to London during the olympics.
It might be a once in a lifetime opportunity you know? You will have such a great time, I'm sure!
Oh well, I had to settle with a trip before and after the olympics.
Hope you can join us in September!
I'm sure my new work won't be fond of the fact that I'm going in September.
But too bad for them! I planned this trip even before I had this job so what to do! =)

Yeah, I'm quite (understatement LOL ) excited to be in London during the Olympics, even though I couldn't actually get tickets to the competitions. I'm sure the city will be even busier than usually, but I'm so excited !! Like you said, it might be a once in a lifetime opportunity... Really hope I can join you in September (not sure my work will be fond of me taking days off at that very busy time of the year for us either, but I'll try my best! Keeping my fingers crossed);

We are staying in Kings Cross, feels like the best place to stay 'cause it's so close to Camden without actually living in Camden, of course I will have to try and stay in Camden someday.
If a few people decides to come, maybe we could make a reservation at Jazz After Dark and have dinner? Maybe we could also go to Camden Square and Hawley Arms/The Good Mixer or both? Would be fun to take a little tour and have fun together.
