Thought I’d post this. Didn’t know there was a longer version with Amy’s added chorus in the end, it’s much better than the shorter one. Sorry if repost.
wow, Elsie. thanks. I saw this on YT but never listened to the end. why? because I put this song on repeat before it ends, I love it so much. I like this version better, too. that ending really makes me feel like it is her song and she has the last word.
Hah there is a shorter version of “Like Smoke”? didn’t know it. That was the 1st and only video i’ve benn listenning XD
Yeah, the link to that version was posted in the “Listen to Like Smoke” thread.
Thank you very much for posting, Elsie. I had also seen that video on Youtube, but never watched it because I assumed it was also what we may now call “the short version”. I wonder which version will be on Lioness: Hidden Treasures…
I’ve listened to the extended version a couple of times, and I can’t tell yet what version I prefer. The fact that Amy is singing the chorus once more at the end definitely feels good, because, like you wrote, Tunisianswife, she has the last word. But the end of the other version is stuck in my head, and I love it, though it’s a bit abrupt, maybe.
Yeah i saw this when it was posted but only read the article and then headed of to youtube
Cool
Like it…thanks ^^
Thank you, Elsie!
My wish has finally become truth ( i always wanted an extra chorus @ the end 2 make the song longer!)
Yay! Glad you enjoyed it all. I hope this version is on the album.
YES! That’s what I wanted! I just wanted Amy’s parts would be longer and this is great. Someone send that version to Salaam Remi and say; ‘‘Just listen then you’ll understand what should you do.’’
Here’s the final version I think:

sooo loving her singing and this song…
I love this Song. I can’t believe she didn’t do a verse to this. OOoh ooh. I love it when she sings that part.
I don’t know. This version is the one posted by Salaam Remi, So yes, it’s probably the final one. But the extended version was posted on Youtube the same day (November the 4th), and I’d like to know who posted it (Zalon seems to be linked to the YT channel where it was posted).
