Mitch slating Juliette on Twitter

So Mitch is at it again…

“Juliette Ashby one of Amys “best friends” who deserted her, released her album today. What a coincidence!”

“I hope Juliettes album does well. Then she can give back all the money she took from Amy.”

Man, this is below the belt for Mitch and that’s saying something. I’m inclined to think he resents her because she participated in the film and was completely honest rather than her “deserting” Amy. He needs to pipe down.

Wow.

By the way, he got it wrong. Her album was released a while ago now.

Wow he’s so bitter and so mean. He’s old, why would he even argue against his daughter’s best friend. He needs to be more mature. So unnecessary.

Yeah what is he talking about… on Amazon it says it was released May 26th. Everyone who knew Amy is grieving and I wish he’d have some respect for them regardless of anything that may have happened.

this guy has no respect for others. so he doesn’t really deserve respect for himself either! And who do you guesss, made money and fortune out of his releations to Amy and her fame? I’d guess, 99,9% of you would probably say, that it is Mitch, not her! And secondly, she’s tried very hard to make a Music career on her own, doing club gigs, go to auditions, she’s doing it on her own and doesn’t Need Amy’s fame and never useed her relationship to her, to beconme a star or something, cause otherwise, she would have been promotig her album around 2008 and would have toured as Amy’s best friend or something. But she really tried top get a deal on her own, other than Mitch. And she doesn’t go i to talkshows or promote a 3rd class doc (was it Amy, mmy daughter? but nevermind) to talk about things, that defintely should be set privately.

Age has nothing to do with maturity unfortunately.  Mitch thinks the earth revolves around him but this was just mean.  I cancelled the small sum of money I was giving to the foundation monthly.  They are going to get an email explaining why.  He’s the only buzz kill associated with this film and he needs to just deal with his shit in private.

Mitch needs to be very careful about what he says on twitter. She could set the lawyers on hm.

Now he has blocked me. I wear it as a badge of honour. The man has major issues that are unrelated to his daughter

lool, sorry, if i’m going against policy rules, but when i read this, the words ‘what an immature brat’ came into my mind. he just goes there and blocks someone, who has another opinion! though you weren’t even as cruel to him as he was to Juliette.

@pearljo

you’re right, old age hasn’t got anything to do with maturity. Some ppl are acting like children their whole lives along! And others are mature from theirr early-teens. Or others were wise and mature in their early adulthoods and their mid-lives, but are regressing on behalf of their maturity in their senior years.7 bio different ppl, 7 bio different stories! I don’t know, if he acts like this, cause he wants ppl, to read his tweets and commments and wants them to talk about them, or if he is really such an immature jerk and this infantiile behavior is in his nature, but it is not a question of his age, i guess.it’s a question about himself and how he’s treating other ppl.

Yeah I don’t like the idea of slagging off parents who have lost a child but his actions leave no room for such concessions.

It is as if he is the only authority on what Amy did/knew/felt/said and anything that deviates from his perceived reality is tosh. Well, there is a lot he didn’t know about his daughter and he seems unable to grasp that either she kept things from him or that he doesn’t actually know every intricate detail of her life. I mean, who here can say their parents know everything about their life?

To go a slag off Juliette, who has maintained her silence, never once sold stories to the media and never once tried to profiteer from her friendship with Amy, is overstepping the mark. Juliette and Lauren have nothing to lose or gain (financially) by offering the truth. They don’t appear to have an agenda and they spoke of Amy in glowing terms despite the fallout. If it’s a choice of choosing whose account to believe - Mitch or Juliette & Lauren - I will go with Juliette and Lauren.

Mitch’s misgivings are highlighted in the film - particularly the exchange he had with Juliette and Lauren re: passport and tours. If he doesn’t like the truth, he’d be best to stfu rather than inciting hatred online in pithy tweets that show him for a mug.

For the sake of the foundation, the man must realise and accept that it is not all about him.

It’s sad that it had to come to that. But I hope it makes some difference. I Doubt you would be the only one who has done this in recent times

This is so cold blooded.  Mitch saying this puts Blake in a better light.  It was all Blake’s fault to Mitch.  Wait a minute, now there’s another accusation.  Now Juliette took Amy’s money and used her.  Does he mean she stole from Amy?   So now it’s Blake and Juliette’s fault.  Anyone else, Mitch?

IMHO, if Amy would have recovered and done a lot of therapy about her family of origin, she would have been super-pissed at Mitch.  That’s where this whole thing began.  It’s disturbing to a young child to have a father, the man she adored, suddenly having two wives.  Oh well, it’s a shame all the way around.

Amy probably payed for all her friends and of course Blake cuz she was rich and Amy being Amy that’s just how she was, very generous. She probably didn’t ‘take’ money from Amy, Amy probably offered and treated her a lot to things. I’m sure Amy loved doing that

I think he’s refering to when they first moved in together, when they were roughly 18 years old, Amy got a flat with the down-payment she got from signing a contract, and Juliette didn’t pay rent.

But Juliette didn’t ask anything of Amy, she never sold stories to the press, she never asked for a leg-up with her musical career, she’s been super-respectful.

How dare he judge her for how she dealt with Amy’s addiction (i.e. “deserting” her, when she said she didn’t want to be a part of it) and then get upset when people question his way of handling it !

Everyone deals with addiction in different ways.

I feel for Mitch, but his constant media whoring does him no favours.

I’m sure he’s a bit tired and stressed about the whole thing now, and probably embarrassed about some things. However, he has done good work for promoting the dangers of drug use. At the end of the day we can’t be 100% sure of anything. Like Asif said, Amy acted and told different things to different people, “and everyone was blaming eachother” or something like that. XXX

Mitch needs to see a professional. It’s like he’s grieving in the most public way possible. He needs to sort out his issues and learn how to cope with the reality of Amy’s death and the role he played in her life which, whether he wants to admit it or not, was not perfect.

The man is a dirtbag of the highest order. Every time he opens his mouth it’s embarrassing. Where’s that cork?
