Her voice is perfect to all tipe of musics so I would love that she does some of Bob Marley songs, some Dinah and Sarah V. and Ray C. covers too, and like i said in other thread, a few of Queen...that would be great!Amy would do a great version. Roy Hamilton also covered it as did Aretha (it's on the new rareities and outakes CD) and I think Elvis did it too.

I always try to put my stamp on things, I wanna do it my way, I wanna be different - Amy Winehouse
My greatest fear is dying without anyone knowing of any contribution that I’ve ever made to creative music...but that's cool now because I've made an album...if i died tomorrow I would still find fulfillment - Amy Winehouse

Ever since I first heard this song a while back I've thought it would be perfect for Amy to cover. Melancholic reggae, the kind I would imagine she was creating in St Lucia.

Lyrics:
Five o'clock in the morning
I'm not yet a-sleeping
Soon the day will be dawning
Since I broke up with you
My whole world is through
I'm so blue
I should have not been a-flirting
Now I'm the one who is hurting
And there's just no telling
What I'm gonna do
'Cause life without you is so blue
My world is blue
My world is blue, ooh
Help me mama, help me papa
Can't you see I made a mistake?
I'm only living for a love
And this heartache, I just can't take
I'm so blue
Five o'clock in the morning
I'm not yet a-sleeping
Soon the day will be dawning
Now since I broke up with you
My whole world is through
I'm so blue
You never miss your water
Until your well runs dry
You never see your tears
And then you start to cry
You break down inside you could die
My world is blue
My world is blue, ooh
Help me mama, help me papa
Can't you see I made a mistake?
I'm only living for a love
And this heartache, I just can't take
I'm so blue

How Deep Is The Ocean? in the style of Jamie Cullum
Mad About The Boy by Dinah Washington
The Lost Art Of Murder by Babyshambles

There are thousands more, but these three are my favorite options. Besides, she probably knew and liked the three of them.

I really wish Amy had sung more classic songs from the Great American Songbook like she did with "Lullaby Of Birdland", "No Greater Love", "Someone To Watch Over Me", "I Should Care", "Round Midnight" and with the upcoming "Body and Soul" duet with legendary Tony Bennett. She had so much potential and innate gifts and talents for singing her heart out with so much soul and intensity. She had such a knack her phrasing, slurring of words, and interpretation of a lyric. I would have loved for her to continue singing songs that stemmed from her jazz roots putting the Amy Winehouse stamp on the classics. Maybe if she lived long enough she would have explored that avenue again and created a jazz album some where along the road after her masterpiece album Back To Black . . .
Now we'll never know

For you I was a flame
Love is a losing game
Five story fire as you came
Love is a losing game
One I wished I never played
Oh what a mess we made
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game
