I love this song with its "weird and haunting melodies", written by Jack Segal (American songwriter 1918-2005). My father played this song a lot when I was growing up and for some reason it stuck with me despite my years following rock, soul, blues and R&B.

I'm not quiet sure who wrote this song but so far the only version that I know is from Johnny Ace and the song is called Pledging my love. I guess it's also a very old song but I somehow can imagine her to sing it.

This is a video of a song competition in my country. When I watched this performance in TV, I imagined how Amy would sing this song. Then I realized it would be great. Because in this video, this girl is singing The Way yo make me feel in her own style, I think. And her voice reminds me Dionne. What do you think?

Well...I can certainly could envision her have done some Judy Garland , Patsy cline , Cass Elliot stuff...Cass and her , I think, would of been great to have duetted together, and Patsy too.... Actually, any well known vocalists over the last 100 years, Amy could have sung their covers. I loved that idea of havng a covers Cd by Amy....well, we can imagine...

Oh yes please, can you imagine that.
I know when she performed them there was some depth of sadness watching her - during those shows and it wasnt 100% but I think we all got enough out of that to realise that she would have owned it should she had recorded it!!!!!
