Also, and I know, I know, it's so nit-picky, but Amy doesn't need the right man to take care of her-- she needs to be able to take care of herself, first. All the rest can come later. I think she's well on the way!
true, the taking care of is up to Amy but I think all of us could use some looking after don't you think?
"Nothing's gonna harm you, not while I'm around.
Nothing's gonna harm you, no sir, not while I'm around.
Demons are prowling everywhere, nowadays,
I'll send 'em howling,
I don't care, I got ways.
No one's gonna hurt you,
No one's gonna dare.
Others can desert you,
Not to worry, whistle, I'll be there.
Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while,
But in time...
Nothing can harm you
Not while I'm around...
Not to worry, not to worry
I may not be smart but I ain't dumb
I can do it, put me to it
Show me something I can overcome
Not to worry, Mum
Being close and being clever
Ain't like being true
I don't need to,
I would never hide a thing from you,
Like some...
No one's gonna hurt you, no one's gonna dare
Others can desert you,
Not to worry, whistle, I'll be there!
Demons'll charm you with a smile, for a while
But in time...
Nothing can harm you
Not while I'm around..."

The Specials branded UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown "a cunt" at the V Festival in Staffordshire this evening (August 23).
Somehow Kanye came to my mind after reading that.

And I loved Amy's accent when she was talking to the crowd. Been so long since I've heard her speak.

The singer was a commanding presence on the stage, singing strongly and looking healthy months after her much-publicized hospitalizations and battles with drugs.

She was commanding the hell out of that crowd! Could anyone make out what she said just before "... The Specials! Put your hands together!"?The singer was a commanding presence on the stage
And before she came out, right after " Gimme a minute"?

^Count yourself lucky, Sue!
I never forget it!
I actually have said as much to my friends - literally....that I am so lucky and happy to be alive during the time of Amy Winehouse and her music...
I don't know if a non-fan can actually understand the deep truth of this...
