Her singing, her talking, the way she looks, her moves, her face. Everything that she ever was and had to be has all come together. She once was a jazz-pixie, but she's become herself. Amy. Lioness indeed.

BBC says she just went there to see them, hadn't planned to perform.

...that would mean that she didn't put the same top on to try to dress in the same colours as them...as stated in some earlier lying report..

AMY WINEHOUSE said her impromtu performance with THE SPECIALS on Saturday night has made her even more determined to get her life back on track.
The Grammy-award winning singer - who is currently working on a new album -revealed it was a dream come true to join her idols on stage to sing You're Wondering Now and Ghost Town.
Chatting backstage, she said: "It's great to be back. I loved it out there. The fans and the atmosphere were great.
"It wasn't planned at all. I just went out and did it."
She added: "I want to do my own gigs now."
Specials star RODDY RADIATOR said he couldn't believe his shock when he saw Amy rock up on stage.
Roddy said: "I did a double take. I thought I was dreaming it.

^^I got tears in my eyes reading that. From happiness, of course. Amy so thoroughly deserves this change, and she had the wisdom to allow it to come about. I second Roddy's "Amazing respect to Amy".

You know, one of the things I find the most moving is the news that she hadn't planned to perform, that the band asked her on a spur of the moment. I'm so grateful to them for giving her that chance, because I think this is EXACTLY what she needed to get her feet wet with live performance again. I think she probably built it up so much in her head in the past (see: St. Lucia Jazz Fest) that what she really needed was to perform like this, with the support of a band that she loves, to prove to herself that she's still got it. It must've felt so good to know that a band she admires so much admires her too, and has confidence in her ability to go out there and absolutely kill it.
Seriously, I'm getting teary just writing this-- I'm so proud of that girl. She's gonna move right back to the top, no doubt about it.
