I've seen the video and now I can't stop crying. She's the sweetest girl ever. When she smiles I was wanna hug her really tight, and to know that now it's impossible hurt me in an unexplainable way. I love her with all my heart, my sweet girl. I'm really glad one of her biggest dreams came true.

I really wanted to love this, but I'm not sure that I do, I don't know. It doesn't sound like Amy to me, at all. But I am very happy for her that she got to record with Tony Bennett, and that money is being raised for a very worthy cause.

For some reason I didn't like the It's my party cover at all, but this one, i liked it more. The ending is just ..great.

I was so excited for the release of this song and it really fulfilled my expectations. Especially the end came out perfectly. It's so powerful. It's just nice to hear that Amy could still sing so well.

Lainey, perhaps it is because it is a different genre? or the fact that she is not singing it alone but with someone else which we don't have alot of? I don't know. for me, I adored it. her dream came true, and it happens to be one of my favorite songs from that era.

^ Susan no, it's not so much that I don't like the genre (I do), or the fact that it's a duet. I think the main reason I'm not really crazy about it is that I just don't really care for the song itself. I find it to be a little dull, to be honest, and I wonder how a duet of 'The lady is a tramp' would have sounded, for example. I also feel that Amy's voice doesn't come into its own until the last thirty seconds. To hear that she still had amazing power in her voice made me very, very happy.

Actually, the song that I love the most on the album is 'One for my baby' (CLASSIC) and I would LOVE to have heard Tony and Amy's take on it. Apparently, John Mayer (who's music I really dislike) doesn't do it justice.

The video was wonderful, and it makes me proud to see her so healthy, happy and beautiful. It's like a big f-you to all the nasty nay-sayers who have been running her down for the last 4 years. To think that this is a lasting image that people will have of Amy's final recording is wonderful.

I opened up the itunes store on my PC this evening, and Body and Soul was the front page 'feature' if you will. There was a glorious photo of Amy from the session and Apple are really plugging the song and video, which was wonderful to see.

You've said it. I actually prefered It's My Party to this, because it's a much better song imo, and it fit her perfectly. The only thing I liked about B&S was the story and sentiment behind it and for that reason only I can't be too harsh about it.
Also, with the few snippets we had before it was out, once the whole track was there it actually felt like I've heard everything already, and the surprise was a bit ruined. Shouldn't have listened to the previews.

Body And Soul charts at No.40 in the UK Official Top 40. Amy's never really been a chart artist, in that she's more about albums than singles, but its cool to see she made it in there. I've seen the song pretty high on iTunes a lot too.

Theres alot of good comments, but there is so many hate comments on all of Amys videos, performances, interviews, its astounding there are so many of these cretins walking the earth, sad too.
