Tony: She was a good friend of mine
*Amy starts to fangirl*

*Amy takes a drink from her water bottle*
Tony: Oh, she was great. She used to just come in with two suitcases in Vegas without being booked and she'd just come in and put the suitcases down and she'd say "I'm here boss"
*Amy laughs exstatically with water in her mouth*
Tony: And she'd stay as long as she wanted
Amy: *Excitedly* She's one of my favourite singers.. of ALL TIME *smiling and making hand gestures*
Tony: All the kids in all the shows on a trip would come and hear at night that she's in town and they would be packed! Just for all the performaces.
Amy: Wow.. *scratching her head* ..I bet
Amy: *shaking her head* She died so young.. right?
Tony: Yeah, she was-
Amy: She wasn't even 40! Right?
Tony: Yeah.. it's tough

Tony: 27. 27 Years old, It's a tragic.. you know it's just tragic. We were on the road and Danny called me long distance "Amy Winehouse just died" and I just started crying. I couldn't believe it. I told the BBC in London "I want to talk to this girl and try to talk her out of doing the drugs cause if she keeps it up, it's gonna kill her. That's the last thing I said. She's a little angel.

I just watched the documentary. It was great; I appreciate Tony Bennett even more. I was hoping for a bit more Amy but then again, it is a Tony Bennett doc;) I am always wanting more! I am so thankful for the kind and cary words he has said to her and about her. I believe he truly thought she is and will be one of the greats.

Very sad. When I read that she was drinking water... God, it's so unfair. She had gone through hell but the last months she was fantastic. She had put on weight, she looked gorgeous, she was happy and making plans for the future and then...
