I want to show you the letters I've sent to them (going to send to SPIN in a few minutes), but do you think it's a good idea for me to post them here? I mean, seeing how journalists may be lurking around this forum?

No offence but journalists (and I use that word loosely) won't have any interest in what one of us writes to a magazine... unless you're sharing Amy's deepest and darkest secrets, they won't care.Hey guys, I just emailed RollingStone magazine and I'm about to email SPIN because in all honesty, it's ridiculous how Amy's being overlooked here in the US (with much respect to VIBE magazine for not overlooking her at all).

Pisses me off when i go to the store and not see one damn magazine paying tribute to the queen of soul of our generation. I havnt seen one thing with Amy on the cover.
OK! has a tribute issue:
Our time will never come again
But if you can still dream
Close your eyes it will seem
That you can see me now and then.

Dear Editors,
The music world has lost the most significant jazz singer of this generation and RollingStone Magazine has barely mentioned it to anyone. It’s been 1 full week since Amy Winehouse’s untimely death and at this very moment, the topic appears hardly noteworthy, as it sits at the bottom of your website.
Don’t you think she deserves a cover issue of her own?
With respect to all of the hard-working staff at RollingStone magazine, I’m asking you to release an alternate cover issue dedicated to the memory of Amy Winehouse and her musical genius. Honestly, I thought your magazine would have immediately put this together (just like how VIBE did), but apparently I was mistaken.
Please, print this cover issue in a timely manner…before it’s too late.
SPIN
SPIN magazine,
As an avid music listener and a current subscriber of your magazine, I fully understand the importance of Nirvana's legacy.
With that said, I'm shocked that SPIN hasn't rushed a cover issue to the newsstands in memoriam of Amy Winehouse.
It's not my duty to go on about how crucial it is for people to celebrate her musical legacy. In fact, as the popular and well-rounded music publication that you are, it's your duty to take the job upon yourself. In fact, as and fan and reader of your magazine I want YOU to honor her.
I'm contacting you for one reason: Please, release a physical issue of SPIN magazine in dedication to this generation's most significant, brilliantly talented jazz singer, Amy Winehouse.
Thank you,
A-----

It is a shite magazine... well, sometimes it's rather amusing...Yeah, but OK! is the exact kind of magazine that I despise...
but it looks like they've dedicated a fair few pages to the girl. I'm gonna buy it fo sho.

I wrote the editor and asked why they, like the rest of the music industry, felt the need to disenfranchise amy and why no tribute.
and..why willie nelson is a better*vocalist* than amy, and i love willie but we're talking real singers here. there was more, i forget.
