Amy Winehouse Foundation Announces Benefit Concert

The Amy Winehouse Foundation has announced that a benefit concert is to take place in 2012.
As of yet no acts have been confirmed.
Mitch Winehouse said: “The Amy Winehouse Foundation is very excited to be planning a benefit concert in tribute to Amy later this year.
“Thanks to everyone for their interest and for sharing our enthusiasm for the idea.
“We should make it clear that no artists have yet been approached to take part.
“We will be talking to a variety of people in the coming months and will announce those performing as soon as we can.”

Glad it is not going to be a 'lookalike' concert - no one can look like / be like Amy and it would be too much. Think it just needs to celebrate music and be something she would enjoy - think she would hate it being over the top Amy Amy Amy wouldn't she. She used to get embarrassed if one of her songs came on in the pub! Bless her!
